Oleksiy Yakovchuk is a Ukrainian athlete, a member of the national beach wrestling team of Ukraine. He competes in the weight category up to 90 kg and represents the Mykolaiv region. For many years, he has been one of the leaders of the national team and a multiple champion of Ukraine in his weight category. Thanks to his stable performances in the domestic and international arenas, he established himself among the strongest representatives of the Ukrainian beach wrestling. At the 2021 World Championships, Oleksiy Yakovchuk won a bronze medal. In 2023, he took the 5th place, and in 2024 he became the bronze medalist of the world championship for the second time. The best result in hiscareer was shown in 2025, when he won the silver medal of the World Championship among adults. Long-term performances as part of the national team, a high level of skill and significant international achievements have made Oleksiy Yakovchuk one of the leading athletes in Ukrainian beach wrestling.
