Biography
Oleksiy Boruta - is the leader of the national team of Ukraine in beach wrestling in the weight category up to 70 kg.
Born in the city of Ukrainka, Kyiv region. He began to engage in wrestling as a child. Under the mentorship of Anatolii Anatoliiovych Huralskyi, he went from a young athlete to one of the strongest representatives of Ukraine in the international arena.
Oleksiy Boruta achieved the greatest success in the Beach wrestling. He is the World Champion of 2024, the Silver Medalist of the 2021, 2023 and 2025 World Championships, as well as a multiple winner of the World Series.
In 2026, Oleksiy Boruta was awarded the title of "Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine" in beach wrestling.
