Oleksandr Veresiuk is a participant in the beach wrestling in Ukraine from the very beginning. In 2017, he came to the sand in Odessa, where the first official beach wrestling tournament in the country took place. Eight years have passed since then — and all this time Oleksandr remains in the sport, continuing to perform at beach wrestling tournaments, and today he is on the podiumof the World Cup stages, representing Ukraine in the international arena. This is a story not about medals, but about devotion: not everyone survives eight years in a sport that was just beginning its formation in the country. Oleksandr Veresiuk is one of those who was close to the beach wrestling from the very beginning.
